Who is responsible for your data

Husslar is the data controller for husslar.com. If you have any questions about your data or want to exercise your rights, email hello@husslar.com.

What we collect

• Order details: your name, email, delivery address and phone number, and what you ordered.
• Payment information: handled directly by Stripe. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded and a reference, but never your full card number.
• Account information: if you create an account, the name and email you provide (stored in your browser for this prototype).
• Usage data: basic, privacy-friendly analytics about how the site is used, with no cross-site tracking.

How we use it

• To process, fulfil and deliver your order, and to handle returns.
• To contact you about your order.
• To meet our legal and accounting obligations.
• To improve the shop and prevent fraud.

Our lawful bases are performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in running the business, and compliance with legal obligations.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the providers that help us run the shop, including Stripe (payments), our delivery and supplier partners (to fulfil your order), and our hosting and email providers. We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

We keep order and transaction records for as long as the law requires (generally six years for tax purposes), then delete or anonymise them.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email hello@husslar.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to run the site (for example to remember your basket) and privacy-friendly analytics. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
